How to access Substance Abuse Treatment
Once an application has been submitted and all information has been clarified and missing information obtained an eligibility decision will be made. In order for an applicant to be eligible to access treatment funds they must have a completed application on file, meetdiagnostic criteria, and be at or below the income and resource guidelines. Once a decision has been reached the applicant will be contacted and given the decision and any reason for a ineligibility. If an applicant has been determined eligible they will be assigned to a service coordinator who will perform an assessment to determine the applicants level of need. Once an assessed level of need is obtained, treatment funds will be encumbered to the applicant. Note: [Should funds be fully encumbered, applicants who meet all eligibility criteria may be placed on a waiting list] Often times applicants may apply for funding through their treatment provider. Wright County's primary treatment provider is Community and Family Resources in Ft. Dodge.
Wright County Social Services provides financial assistance for Detoxification and Treatment Services for persons who reside in Wright County, meet all eligibility criteria and request the services of their own volition.
- Applicants must request treatment of their own volition
- Applicants must meet income and resource criteria
- Applicants may be subject to reimbursement policies
Applicants that do not meet the above requirements will not receive financial assistance. Applicants who request service to fulfill court orders or under pressure from family or friends and not of their own volition will not receive assistance. If an applicant disagrees with decisions made, they may appeal.
