2007 FINAL EQUALIZATION NOTICE

Pursuant to Iowa Code Section 441.21, the Director of Revenue is to certify annually to each county auditor the percentages of the actual value at which agricultural, residential, commercial, industrial, railroad and utility properties are to be assessed for property taxes.  The Director has computed the percentages in accordance with the formula prescribed by law for 2007.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED by the Director of Revenue of the State of Iowa that each county auditor shall apply the following percentages to the 2007 actual value of the following properties:

Class of Property 

Percentage of Adjustment to Reported 2007 Actual Value

Agricultural realty outside and within incorporated cities and towns in the county, excluding dwellings located on agricultural realty.

90.1023% to value

Residential realty outside and within incorporated cities and towns in the county, including dwellings located on agricultural realty.

44.0803% to value

Commercial realty in the county, excluding properties referred to in Iowa Code Section 427A.1(1)(j).

99.7312% of value
Railroad property outside and within incorporated cities and towns in the county. 99.7312% of value
Industrial realty. No adjustment

All taxpayers or owners have the right to appeal this equalization order to the Board of Review.  All appeals must be filed between October 16 – 25th, in the Assessors Office, Wright County, Iowa.
