PUBLIC NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE Board of Supervisors OF THE County of Wright, STATE OF IOWA, ON THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED AUTHORIZATION OF A LOAN AGREEMENT AND THE ISSUANCE OF not to exceed $500,000 general obligation CAPITAL LOAN noteS, SERIES 2010, (FOR AN ESSENTIAL CORPORATE PURPOSE) AND THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE AUTHORIZATION AND ISSUANCE THEREOF
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Wright, State of Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the 1st day of March, 2010, at 10:15 o'clock A.M., in the Board Room, 115 North Main Street, Clarion, Iowa, at which meeting the Board proposes to take additional action for the authorization of a Loan Agreement and the issuance of not to exceed $500,000 General Obligation Capital Loan Notes, Series 2010, for an essential corporate purpose of the County, in order to pay costs of constructing a County Maintenance Building. Principal and interest on the proposed Loan Agreement will be payable from the Debt Service Fund.
At the above meeting the Board shall receive oral or written objections from any resident or property owner of the County, to the above action. After all objections have been received and considered, the Board will at this meeting or at any adjournment thereof, take additional action for the authorization of a Loan Agreement and the issuance of Notes to evidence the obligation of the County thereunder or will abandon the proposal.
This Notice is given by order of the Board of the County of Wright, State of Iowa, as provided by Sections 331.402, 331.441 and 331.443 of the Code of Iowa, as amended.

The Wright County Board of Supervisors will be holding a Public Hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2010/2011 County Budget.

H1N1 Booster Information
Children ages 6 months through 9 years of age will need to receive 2 doses of 2009 H1N1 vaccine. The 2nd dose can be scheduled 28 days after the 1st dose was given. Any children eligible for the 2nd dose can receive this dose at the Wright County Health Department office any afternoon from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This will be by appointment only. Call the Wright County Health Department at 515-532-3461 Monday thru Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm to schedule an appointment. Flu mist may not always be available, and in that case, an injection will be given.
